Job summary

Solita is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to translate AI/ML opportunities into production solutions. You will collaborate with customers to identify high-value use cases and drive implementations from exploration to live systems across Finland.

You’ll design and deploy production-grade AI/ML solutions, leveraging ML, optimization, computer vision, and LLMs, while ensuring reliability, security, and governance. English fluency is essential; Finnish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, building, deploying, and operating AI/ML solutions in production environments.
• Strong Python skills and solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or GitHub Copilot.
• Understanding of data, cloud, and platform foundations for scalable AI/ML solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake).
• Fluent English; Finnish language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customer domain experts to identify high-value AI/ML opportunities and define measurable success criteria.
• Turn ambiguous business challenges into concrete solution approaches and move promising use cases into production.
• Design, build, and integrate production-grade AI/ML solutions using ML, optimization, computer vision, LLMs, or agentic systems.
• Establish engineering practices for reliable AI/ML in production, including evaluation, testing, monitoring, CI/CD, and code reviews.
• Deploy, operate, and continuously improve AI/ML solutions, addressing performance and reliability issues and communicating trade-offs.
• Work with account leadership to identify opportunities to expand engagements and bring Solita experts as needed.
