NestAI is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to join our team in Tampere. You will embed with customers to validate technology in real-world deployments, translate needs into concrete ML problems, and ship production-ready solutions.

The role blends hands-on engineering with client-facing responsibilities, requiring comfort in dynamic environments, strong ML fundamentals, and the ability to adapt models to noisy field data and real-time constraints.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of machine learning theory and common deep learning architectures.
• Proficiency in Python with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with version control (Git) and Linux-based environments.
• Familiarity with cloud or edge compute environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Willingness to travel to and work in customer environments as needed.
• Good communication skills and ability to engage with non-ML stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Work directly with customer teams to understand operational requirements and translate them into concrete technical problems.
• Design and implement algorithms for sequential decision-making, autonomous behavior, or specialized workflows.
• Adapt and fine-tune models to perform reliably on real operational data.
• Prototype rapidly in field or customer environments and harden for production.
• Collaborate with internal platform, embedded, and perception teams to feed field learnings back into NestOS.
