Job summary

NestAI, a European AI lab for defence, is seeking a Release & Quality Lead in Finland to own release and validation for parts of our platform. You’ll ship with embedded teams, defining what “tested” and “validated” mean in non-deterministic, agentic systems.

You will bring a developer’s mindset to quality, writing code and building pipelines that let us ship fast without breaking. This role requires deep system understanding and hands-on collaboration.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on software engineering experience across production code.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release management.
• Familiarity with Python and containerization (Docker).
• Understanding of embedded/edge or fullstack/agent-based systems.
• Experience validating AI agent systems.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver.

Responsibilities

• Own Release Engineering: build and mature CI/CD pipelines with release candidate accountability.
• Define Validation for AI-Agent Era: develop evaluation frameworks for non-deterministic systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to build quality from the start.
• Understand platform depth across agents, backend, and infrastructure to identify release risks.
• Partner with embedded/edge and fullstack/agent teams to align validation.
• Help define NestAI's validation strategy as the organization scales.
