Job summary

NestAI, a European AI lab for defence, seeks an AI Transformation Lead to bridge mission needs and NestOS capabilities. You will engage senior leaders, shape opportunities, and guide multi-disciplinary teams from strategy to deployed solutions.

You’ll translate operational challenges into actionable AI and data initiatives, building trust with defence forces, government and industry partners across Europe. Fluency in English is required, Finnish is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Transformation track record leading AI-and data-driven initiatives in large organisations.
• Experience facilitating strategic discussions with senior decision-makers and workshops.
• Strong understanding of how organisations create value through technology investments.
• Practical knowledge of AI/GenAI opportunities, limitations, and adoption challenges.
• Experience in consulting, professional services, technology companies, or large/complex organisations.
• Commercial instinct: identify opportunities, grow relationships, contribute to sales.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills in high-stakes settings.
• Fluent in English; Finnish language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Executive engagement with defence, government and industry stakeholders around AI- and data-driven transformation.
• Opportunity shaping: identify, prioritise and shape AI initiatives with measurable value.
• Transformation journeys: connect mission goals, operating models, data capabilities and tech investments.
• Execution with multidisciplinary teams to deliver NestOS from strategy to deployment.
• Build long-term relationships across European defence forces and industry for collaboration.
• Support commercial teams with sales, account development and proposals.
