Job summary

Visma Solutions is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our AI Excellence team and translate AI/ML opportunities into production-ready solutions for our SaaS products. You will design, build, deploy, and integrate AI capabilities into existing software, collaborating with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver real value.

The role offers remote work within Finland or hybrid options from Helsinki/Lappeenranta offices, with relocation not available.

Are you a hands-on AI/ML engineer with experience building and deploying AI/ML-powered features into production software products? Are you interested in working deeply with rapidly evolving AI/ML technologies and applying them to real business and product use cases?

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join our company-level AI Excellence team and help turn AI/ML opportunities into production-ready solutions.

What can you expect when joining us?

• Design, build, deploy, and integrate AI/ML features into existing software products and technical infrastructure.
• Evaluate AI/ML models, technologies, and approaches to determine which are appropriate for different product and business use cases.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, designers, and business stakeholders to ensure AI/ML solutions deliver user and business value.

How will you succeed?

Required qualifications:

• Demonstrated hands-on professional experience building and deploying AI/ML-powered features into production as part of a software product.
• Practical AI/ML knowledge, including an understanding of different types of models, their capabilities and limitations, and how to select and evaluate appropriate approaches for different use cases.
• Strong software engineering experience, including integrating AI/ML functionality with existing systems, APIs, and data flows, and building production software with appropriate testing, security, reliability, and scalability.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Experience taking AI/ML prototypes through to production and integrating them into existing products is particularly relevant to this role.

The technologies are changing quickly, so experience with specific tools is not required. Relevant experience may include technologies such as:

• AI platforms: AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, or equivalent
• AI/ML and model development and evaluation tools
• Agentic AI and orchestration frameworks, such as LangChain
• AI-assisted development tools and IDEs

Finnish language skills are considered a plus but are not required.

The salary range depends on relevant experience and seniority, and we are happy to hear your expectations. Our recruitment process includes two interview rounds, a work-related assignment, and an online personality assessment.
