Job summary

Siili Solutions is hiring an AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions that turn data into measurable value. You’ll join the Data & AI community and work alongside data scientists, engineers, and architects to deliver production-ready AI systems.

You’ll develop end-to-end AI solutions, optimize LLM-powered applications, apply MLOps, and operate in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP). Fluency in Finnish and English helps you guide clients and colleagues as you push AI from

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or data science with ML concepts.
• Experience building production-grade LLM and agentic applications with evaluation, monitoring, and scaling.
• Knowledge of core LLM concepts such as tokenization, RAG, CoT, reasoning models, memory, fine-tuning, tool use, and self-correction.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps, CI/CD, containers, and cloud environments.
• Ability to design and maintain data pipelines ensuring model reliability and performance in production.
• Fluency in Finnish and English.

As an AI Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying machine learning and AI solutions that help organizations transform how they use data. You’ll work as part of our Data & AI community, alongside data scientists, data engineers, and data architects – but your focus will be on true AI engineering: making models work in production, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer who has built real AI solutions – beyond using APIs or experimenting with models.

We hope you recognize yourself in most of these:

• 2+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or data science, with a solid understanding of key ML concepts such as classification, regression, NLP, and generative AI.
• Experience in building production-grade LLM and agentic applications, incl. evaluation, monitoring, and scaling.
• Knowledge of core LLM concepts e.g. tokenization, RAG, CoT, reasoning models, memory, fine-tuning, tool use, and self-correction.
• Hands‑on experience with MLOps, CI/CD, containers, and cloud environments.
• Ability to design and maintain data pipelines, ensuring model reliability and performance in production.
• Curiosity and drive to stay ahead of developments in AI and apply them responsibly.
• Excellent communication and consulting skills — able to guide stakeholders, create understanding, and inspire confidence around AI capabilities.
• Fluent in Finnish and English.

• Agent technologies: MCP, agent/workflow frameworks (LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Haystack, Magentic, Strands)
