Job summary

Oulun yliopisto invites applications for an Education Assistant in the Study Services of the Faculty of Technology. This fixed-term position begins on 1 September 2026 and runs through 30 August 2027, offering a dynamic team of 15 and flexible work options across multiple locations.

The role focuses on advising students, managing study information in Peppi, supporting curriculum activities, and assisting in graduation processes. A lower university degree and strong language skills are required.

Qualifications

• Fluent oral and written Finnish and English language skills are required.
• Suitable lower university degree (e.g. administration) with customer service exposure is preferred.
• Active customer service attitude and eagerness to learn new things.
• Independent and proactive approach to work with good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in study services for the Faculty of Technology to support students until graduation.
• Advise and guide students from start of studies through graduation phase.
• Maintain student information in the Peppi system and support scheduling tasks.
• Support study rights administration and graduation-related processes.
• Assist with tuition fee and scholarship administration and EXAM supervision as needed.
• Contribute to other education support tasks as assigned by the team.
