Job summary

Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort in Saariselkä, Lapland, Finland, is seeking three Activity Coordinators for the winter season 2026-2027. The contract is seasonal, running from mid October to end of March 2027, with full hours arranged across a 3‑week cycle.

You’ll be part of the activity team under the Activity Manager. You will lead outdoor activities, sell activities, answer questions, book activities and transport, and handle calls and emails, delivering excellent customer service in English.

Qualifications

• Fluent in written and spoken English. Other languages are considered an advantage.
• Previous international work experience.
• Previous experience working in front of people.
• A proactive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with professional attitude.

Job description

Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort is one of Finland’s best-known and most talked about travel destinations. This family business, founded in 1974, is in Saariselkä, Lapland. Kakslauttanen hosts around 30,000 visitors each year, many of them from abroad. We are looking for skilled and motivated Activity Coordinators to join us for our winter season 2026-2027.

Contract is seasonal, starting mid October- mid November until end of March 2027. We provide full hours, 112,5h/3week period. You belong to activity team, together with our experienced Activity Manager and other activity team members.

The role will involve:

• Leading outdoor activities and excursions, tailored to the guests’ interests and level of experience
• Selling activities for customers
• Answering questions regarding activities
• Booking activities and transportation
• Answering and making phone calls, emails

Desired qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Fluent in written and spoken English. Other languages are considered an advantage.
• Previous international work experience
• Previous experience working in front of people
• A proactive attitude and excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently with professional attitude.

The location of the resort is in the middle of lovely nature, and here you also have time to enjoy nature and try different activities that you might never get to try otherwise. We have also a small gym for our staff, and possibilities to try cross country skiing and other winter activities.

It is possible to rent an shared apartment through us, so it is easy to join us where ever you are coming from. Apartments are for two people. In terms of employment, we follow the collective agreement of the tourism and restaurant industry, and the salary is according to the agreement, considering the applicant’s previous experience and education.
