What\'s in store?

In the Accounting Advisor role, you are responsible for the accounting of two franchising chain clients supported by the rest of the team. You handle the daily financial affairs of client companies, such as accounting and monthly reporting, as well as financial statements, tax returns, and accounts payable. You do versatile client work, participate in client meetings, and ensure that agreed matters are handled in practice. At the same time, you are an active part of the team and involved in developing ways to work together. In franchising clients, clear and strong support provided by the chain is combined with the individual needs of entrepreneurs, which brings pleasant variety and versatility to the work. You will also develop your own expertise in various financial management special issues.

We do accounting fully electronically and are pioneers in technological development. We utilize the most modern tools and constantly develop our financial processes to be smoother, for example, using robotics and artificial intelligence. Staria\'s own AI application StariaMind and Financial Management AI help our experts with daily questions, making work more efficient and effortless.

In practice:

• Responsible for daily accounting tasks of named franchising client companies and act as a reliable financial management partner for entrepreneurs.
• Handle the implementation of monthly closings, ensuring that accounting is completed with quality and on schedule.
• Responsible for VAT processes and related reporting, ensuring the correctness and timeliness of information.
• Independently prepare financial statements and tax returns, ensuring they meet reporting and information obligations.
• Handle tasks related to accounts payable and participate in the processing of purchase invoices.
• Work with franchising entrepreneurs in versatile financial management situations and participate in client meetings together with the team.
• Ensure that matters agreed with customers progress smoothly in practice and maintain a high-quality customer experience.
• Actively share your expertise with the team, support colleagues in challenging situations, and participate in the development of common operating methods.

Practical details:

Our team primarily operates in Kotka, but remote work and other locations are possible. You are warmly welcome to our pleasant offices in Helsinki, Tampere, Turku, Salo, Kotka, and Lahti, or alternatively, you can work remotely from anywhere in Finland – and occasionally from abroad. In Oulu, we have a modern coworking space.

The salary range in this position is €2,900–3,800/month depending on your background. The holiday pay portion is paid monthly with the salary, and thus holiday pay is included in the monthly salary.

We believe you will succeed in the position if:

• You have several years of experience in managing the entire accounting process and independently preparing financial statements from start to finish.
• You handle challenging situations smoothly and find solutions efficiently and reliably.
• You are customer-oriented and have good customer service and interaction skills – you can communicate financial matters clearly and build confidential customer relationships.
• You are used to independent work but value teamwork and ask for support when necessary. You are happy to share your expertise and help your colleagues. A positive team spirit and functional cooperation are important to us.
• You have fluent Finnish language skills and good English language skills, as our organization\'s official language is English.
• Previous experience using Netvisor is a plus.
