Job summary

Staria Oyj is seeking a Senior Accounting Advisor to take full responsibility for the financial administration of designated client companies. You will handle bookkeeping, monthly reporting, financial statements and tax returns, and lead the monthly closing to ensure timely, quality results.

You will interact with client contacts, provide proactive business advice, and participate in client meetings. Collaboration with Finnish and international teams and use of StariaMind AI tools support

Qualifications

• Strong experience in full-cycle bookkeeping and ability to independently complete the financial closing process.
• Understanding of group reporting and interest in analyzing the overall financial picture.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Proactive, solution-oriented and development-minded approach.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Business Central and Excel.
• Fluency in Finnish and good proficiency in English.
• Credit check will be performed on the selected candidate.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily financial tasks including bookkeeping, monthly reporting, financial statements, and tax returns.
• Lead the monthly closing process to ensure quality and adherence to schedules.
• Perform analysis and group reporting using Excel.
• Actively spar with client contacts and provide proactive advice to add value.
• Collaborate with Finnish and international accounting teams and participate in client meetings.
• Develop operating methods and enhance the customer experience using digital tools.
