ABOUT 54GROUP: 54 is a sports and entertainment agency operating across five regions and eight offices: United Kingdom (London), Europe (Sotogrande, Spain), MENA (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia & Dubai, United Arab Emirates), APAC (Singapore & Adelaide, Australia) and USA (West Palm Beach, Florida & New York). It works with rights holders, governing bodies, household brands and major investors who share its belief in the power of sport. 54 comprises three service areas each consisting of two divisions: 1. Strategic Advisory (Consultancy and Data & Insights), 2. Asset Optimisation (Operations and Commercial), 3. Activation & Engagement (Events and Marketing). At its core, the company has an unwavering belief in embracing the opportunities offered by pushing at the edges of conventional wisdom to turn the improbable into the unignorable. ROLE OVERVIEW:
The opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, driven, and creative Marketing Strategy Account Manager to join the Strategy and Account Services team within the 54 Marketing division. The candidate will cover a range of Marketing services specifically across 54’s portfolio of Brand and Destination clients, forging relationships, and consulting with key clients to develop and drive forward the delivery of agreed marketing strategies, in addition to some of our events in the region. As part of developing and rolling out key Marketing strategies on each account, the role will also entail liaising with the Marketing division’s specialist teams, which includes Advertising, Brand and Creative, Earned Media, social media, and Content.
The successful candidate will be based in the 54 offices in Sotogrande, with a focus on servicing clients across Europe. An understanding and passion for sport, particularly the game of golf, alongside a general understanding of the golf media landscape is preferred, and a marketing background essential. Candidates should display considerable competence in project management skills, comfortable working on multiple projects and to tight deadlines, as well as strong written and verbal communications, and good attention to detail. The candidate should also be adept across all Microsoft Office applications.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Given the role sits within the Strategy and Account Services team, a varied and broad skillset and understanding of marketing is required. With the ability to work across a diverse client portfolio, to assist 54 service its clients’ needs:

SPECIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/APTITUDES NEEDED:
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of current trends relating to sports marketing
  • Knowledge of the sport, lifestyle, and news media landscapes
  • Experience working across the marketing mix and delivering strategic solutions, utilising a range of modern marketing tactics and practices.
  • Experience in developing cross-channel campaigns for consumer facing brands or events.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a variety of tasks.
  • Fluent English and Spanish required.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
  • Competitive Salary
  • Annual Discretionary Company Bonus – up to 8% - 3% Company & 5% Individual
  • 33 days annual leave (+ public holidays), pro-rated
  • Working hours will be from09. 00 to 17. 30 with an hour taken for lunch between 12. 00 and 14. 00
