This new role offers the opportunity to develop and grow a successful camp for years to come. The Director will oversee all aspects of the camp, from admissions and customer service to activity planning, ensuring a profitable and well-organized program. The role requires someone who can work independently, with support from the Global Camps Coordinator, school leaders, and the regional CEO.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:- Develop and expand SIS camp programs- Develop camp policies, rules, and follow best practices to ensure a safe, well-structured, secure, and enjoyable environment for all- Complete management and supervision of all camp staff- Financial management of camp budget- Conducts Risk Management assessments and background checks- Collaborate and coordinate with SIS staff for the physical and operational needs of the camp- Develop enrolment procedures and ensure they are followed- Report on enrolment to the camp coordinator weekly- Develop and implement activities for the camp taking advantage of the unique environment of Costa Del Sol- Timetabling of staff and camp schedules- Primary contact for all questions and concerns from parents and guardians- Ensures appropriate student behavior and adherence to camp rules and regulations- Produce all pertinent documents needed for the implementation of the camp- Ensure the completion and storage of all documentationWhat we are looking for:- English mother tongue or Cl level and Spanish, mother tongue or Cl level.- Must have 10+ years of experience in senior leadership within an educational context- An in-depth understanding of the private school market in Europe- Ability to work collaboratively with others- Possesses good leadership abilities, management, and organizational skills.- Able to set and communicate clear expectations and goals for the camp and its staffQualifications and Accreditations:- Teaching or Coaching qualification- Designated Safeguarding Lead certification- Business management- Boarding QualificationsHOW TO APPLY:1.
