Job summary

Kognitiv Inc. is redefining what it means to be a Workday partner and is building a rapidly scaling Extend practice. As an Extend Consultant, you will create seamless, production-ready apps using the Workday Extend framework and Orchestration Builder within the Workday UI.

Join a small, agile team that shapes development standards, leads cross-functional work with HCM, Finance, and Student modules, and helps define the roadmap for our Extend solutions and best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Workday Extend.
• Proficient in REST APIs, JSON, and Workday Web Services.
• Ability to design Workday Orchestrations and custom security models.
• Experience with App Builder (Visual and Code modes) and extending Workday metadata-driven architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design & Prototype: translate complex business requirements into technical blueprints.
• Full-Stack Extend Delivery: build, test, and deploy applications end-to-end.
• Troubleshoot & Optimize: debug complex logic in orchestrations and improve performance or security.
• Practice Building: contribute to internal reusable solution library and set best practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with Functional and Integration teams to ensure seamless app integration.
