YoBrands, part of The Rank Group, seeks a Windows Administrator for the IT department in Barcelona to deliver End User Computing services and drive efficient PC lifecycle management.

You will manage Windows and Mac images, device management, and software deployment, collaborating with third-party providers to optimize tools and ensure productive end-user experiences in Spain.

Qualifications

• 5+ years architecting EUC solutions and processes.
• Spanish native with good English (written and spoken).
• Experience with Microsoft end-user technologies: SSO, Networking, AD/LDAP, Endpoint Security, Antivirus.
• Networking knowledge: VPNs, Firewalls, Switches, LAN/WLANs.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios).
• Experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Automation tools like Ansible, Terraform.
• Scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with virtualization (VMware).
• Experience with backup technologies.
• End-User security best practices.
• Technical documentation and process definition.

Responsabilités

• Manage End User Computing services and delivery impacting Spain workforce.
• Hands-on work with Windows & Mac images, packaging and software deployment.
• Coordinate with third-party providers for daily support and improvements.
• Operate ServiceNow and JIRA for incidents, requests, and asset management.
• Escalate and resolve End User issues; drive continuous improvement in EUC.
• Lead relationship with offshore/outsourced EUC partners.
• Develop and maintain EUC solution roadmaps and catalogs.
• Maintain endpoint software distribution and hardware roadmap with external partners.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory changes.
• Communicate with leadership on incidents and changes.

We are looking for a Windows Administrator to join our growing IT department in Barcelona! This is an exciting time to join our Yo Brands business as you will help deliver our End User Computing services, technologies, processes which are critical to the productivity of our workforce.

This key role manages all End User Windows & Mac images and devices, mobile device / application management, other EUC technologies, with responsibilities for effective delivery and operational support for PC imaging, packaging, software distribution, patching and overall PC lifecycle management. You will be hands-on while working directly with our third-party providers for daily support and ongoing improvement of our Windows and MAC toolset as well as other tools and solutions, such as meeting rooms, laptops, printers, LAN/WAN connectivity.

• Responsible for delivery of End User Computing services, technologies, processes, impactful to productivity of our Spain workforce.
• Hands-on and working directly with our providers will be accountable for daily support and ongoing improvement of our Windows and MAC toolset as well as other tools and solutions, such as meeting rooms, laptops, printers, LAN/WAN connectivity.
• This key role manages all End User Windows & Mac images and devices, mobile device / application management, other EUC technologies, with responsibilities for effective delivery and operational support for PC imaging, packaging, software distribution, patching and overall PC lifecycle management.
• Service NOW Ticketing tool & JIRA Services Management (Incident, Service Requests, Asset management)
• Serve as the escalation point for End User issues and problems
• Lead and drive continuous improvement opportunities in end user computing experience.
• Primary operational point of contact for our strategic EUC outsourcing partner/s.
• Build strong internal customer relationships to ensure we are aligned to customer and business needs while prioritizing key initiatives.
• Interface with Senior IT leadership on problem/incident calls and acts as an escalation point.
• Develops and maintains a solution roadmap, product catalog and vision for End User Computing technologies and processes.
• Manage an endpoint software distribution solution that encompasses modern imaging, packaging, and software deployment best practices.
• Engage external partners to create and maintain a hardware and client software roadmap that will contribute to a productive workforce.
• Maintain awareness of changing IT trends and regulations which might impact the company and develop strategies that will mitigate any incoming risks and/or take advantage of any future benefits.
• Assess upcoming technologies and recommend innovative use of new features and technologies related to desktop management with the objective of enhancing end user experience.
• Develop and sustain current documentation relating to areas of responsibility.
• Work within established configuration, change management policies, security policies for ensuring awareness, approval and success of changes made to the areas of responsibility.
• Work and communicate with a wide range of people - leadership, peers, vendors, staff members, and others.

Qualifications

• Spanish native speaker & good understanding of written and oral English
• 5+ Years of experience architecting EUC solutions and processes
• 5+ Years of experience with managing Microsoft end user technologies: SSO, Networking, Active Directory, LDAP, End Point Security, Antivirus
• Networking knowledge, experience in managing IPSec VPN's, Firewalls, Switches, LAN and WLANs.
• Experience in monitoring tools (Zabbix , Nagios or similar)
• Experience in Managing relational databases MS SQL Server, MySql or PostgreSQL
• Experience working with automatization tools like Ansible, Terraform or similar
• Experience in scripting and automating tasks using languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar, to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency
• Experience with virtualization technologies like VMWare or similar
• Experience in managing backup technologies
• Experience in End-User Security best practices
• Good at creating technical documentation and process definition
• Experience managing Spain dispersed offices and venues and external contract resources and outsources services (contract, control, SLAs, priorities)
• Open to occasional travel within Spain
