Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center to ensure the safe and efficient operation of offshore wind assets from Barcelona. You will supervise commissioning and service activities, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement in collaboration with site teams and engineering experts.

Requirements include wind energy experience, SCADA proficiency, reading electrical schematics, and fluent English.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot in field.
Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication.
Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona.
Fluent English; EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear, structured information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
Work on rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call rotation.
