Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind) in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor offshore and onshore turbine performance, lead remote diagnostics, and support commissioning and maintenance to ensure reliable operation across the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts, analyze data for faults and improvements, and participate in an on-call rotation with rotating shifts. Fluency in English is required, and Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy sector.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
