Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor turbine performance, diagnose faults, and lead remote support across commissioning and service phases to ensure safe, reliable operation.

With strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, you will collaborate with site teams and engineering to drive continuous improvement and respond to alarms while working a rotating weekday shift and some on-call weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or electromechanical systems in operation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and use them for troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Support commissioning and service activities via remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and trends.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
