GE Vernova's ROC Technical Lead role in Barcelona oversees offshore wind asset operations from a remote center, guiding commissioning and service phases to keep turbines performing reliably.

You will monitor performance, diagnose issues, coordinate with site teams, and drive process improvements, with travel up to 20% and on-call duties on weekends.

Fluency in English, engineering degree, and EU eligibility required, plus relocation to Barcelona.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on wind turbine or similar electromechanical systems experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona; EU eligibility; fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
• Support commissioning and service activities via remote diagnostics
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and trends
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety
• Work on rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/holidays
