Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead to monitor and optimize offshore wind assets from a Barcelona-based remote operations center. You will analyze alarms, perform diagnostics, guide field teams, and drive improvement across commissioning and service phases.

Fluent English, willingness to relocate to Barcelona, and ability to travel up to 20% are required. You will collaborate with engineering teams to ensure safe, reliable turbine performance and continuous optimization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Hands-on experience with wind turbines or electromechanical systems in operational environments.
Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call support during weekends and holidays.
