Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead to operate offshore wind assets from a Remote Operations Center, based in Barcelona. You will monitor turbines, diagnose issues, and support commissioning and service activities, ensuring reliability across shifts.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, read schematics, use SCADA tools, and travel up to 20% if required. Fluent English and EU work eligibility are essential, with relocation to Barcelona.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent wind sector experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
