GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead to operate offshore wind assets from a Remote Operations Center in Barcelona. You will monitor turbine performance, analyze alarms, and provide remote diagnostics to support commissioning and service activities.

You will work with site teams and engineering experts to resolve issues, drive improvements, and ensure safe, reliable operation. Travel to support may be required, and EU work eligibility is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in the wind energy sector.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and ability to relocate to Barcelona with EU work eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
