Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Wind Remote Operations in Barcelona. You will monitor offshore turbine performance from a remote control center, diagnose issues, and support commissioning and service activities to maximise reliability and uptime.

Collaborate with site teams, read electrical schematics, and use SCADA/digital tools. Travel up to 20%, with weekend on-call rotations, and relocate to Barcelona if required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience in operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply troubleshooting knowledge.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and communicative skills; collaborative approach.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities via remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data for faults, trends, and improvements.
• Support reporting of technical findings and process optimisation.
• Assist with grid outages when required, prioritising safety.
