Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor turbine performance, perform remote diagnostics, and assist field teams to ensure safe, reliable operation across commissioning and service phases.

You will collaborate with engineers, analyze data for faults and trends, and contribute to process improvements. The role involves rotating weekday shifts with occasional on-call cover and requires EU work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience in operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting and field support.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities via remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvements.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
