Job summary

Siemens Energy in Spain is seeking an analytical Intern to map, understand, and digitalize key operational processes in the blades department. The role focuses on transforming workflows into Power BI dashboards and automated planning tools to boost efficiency in onshore wind power operations.

You will work with cross-functional teams to document processes, identify bottlenecks, and translate insights into actionable digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a University Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics or related fields.
• Strong interest in digitalization and operations within renewable energy.
• Exposure to Power BI, advanced Excel, SQL or Python is highly preferred for data analysis and visualization.
• Proficient in data analytics and visualization to support decision-making.
• Experience in data validation and quality control to ensure data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and planners to map end-to-end blades processes.
• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and reporting gaps to improve performance.
• Document and maintain workflows and data flows within the department.
• Collect, validate, and structure data from multiple sources ensuring data integrity.
• Translate business requirements into functional Power BI dashboards and automated planning tools.
• Support deployment of digital tools to reduce manual effort and improve tracking.
