GE Vernova in Barcelona is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy). You will support the safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote hub, partnering with site teams and engineering experts to diagnose and resolve issues.

The role spans commissioning and service, remote diagnostics, data analysis, and process improvement, with up to 20% travel and relocation to Barcelona if needed. Fluent English is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills under pressure.
• Willingness to relocate to Barcelona and travel up to 20%.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and EU work eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance
• Work on rotating weekday shift with on-call weekends/public holidays
