Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona. You will monitor turbine performance, respond to alarms, support commissioning and service activities via remote diagnostics, and collaborate with site teams to resolve issues and optimise operations.

Travel up to 20% and relocation to Barcelona are required, with an engineering degree and English fluency. This rotating weekday shift role includes on-call weekend coverage and a focus on safety,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind-energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
