Job summary

TPI Composites in Madrid, Spain, is seeking a Wind Blade Field Service Technician to support the EMEA region. The role involves on-site repairs of wind turbine blades, working at heights, and following all safety procedures.

Candidates should have extensive experience with composites, hold GWO BST and blade repair training, be able to travel, and communicate effectively with customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with composite materials.
• Experience with composites manufacturing, technologies and processes.
• Valid GWO BST certification (FA, MH, FAW, WAH/R).
• GWO Blade repair training or Blade B (C/D preferred).
• Confined Spaces training.
• LOTO training.
• Prevention Officer (PRL 60 / OSHA).
• IRATA certification (Level 2 or 3 preferred).
• Driving license: minimum B in Europe; higher categories advantageous.
• Willingness to travel outside Spain/Europe.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• English knowledge at level B or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site repairs on wind turbine blades.
• Work at heights and comply with safety regulations.
• Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Report issues and assist planning for field service.
• Coordinate with managers and customers as needed.
• Take photos during repair steps for documentation.
