Job summary

FUT‑URE busca un Especialista en Seguridad de Procesos para unirse al equipo en Cartagena, Murcia. El rol es híbrido y enfocado a salvaguardar operaciones mediante sistemas de seguridad de procesos y cumplimiento regulatorio.

Se requieren 6 años en seguridad de procesos en hidrocarburos, experiencia en PHA, PSM, SIS y QRA, y dominio del español; el inglés es ventajoso. Interés en desarrollo profesional y cultura de seguridad destacan en la empresa.

Qualifications

• Titulación en Ingeniería Química, Mecánica o afín.
• “6+ años de experiencia en seguridad de procesos en hidrocarburos.”
• Conocimiento de elementos PSM (OSHA PSM, Seveso).
• Dominio de métodos de PHA (HAZOP/LOPA/FMEA).
• Experiencia con SIS y QRA deseable.
• Habilidades analíticas y de comunicación.

Responsibilities

• Realizar PHAs (HAZOP/LOPA/FMEA) y evaluar riesgos.
• Desarrollar/implantar programas PSM y asegurar cumplimiento.
• Investigar incidentes y proponer acciones correctivas.
• Formar a personal de operaciones e ingeniería.
• Revisar diseños para implicaciones de seguridad.

Especialista en Seguridad de Procesos

Our client, a distinguished name in the Hidrocarburos industry, is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Especialista en Seguridad de Procesos to join their esteemed team in Cartagena, Murcia, ES . This role is paramount in safeguarding our client's operations by ensuring robust process safety management systems are in place and meticulously followed. The position requires a deep understanding of risk assessment methodologies, hazard analysis, and regulatory compliance within the petrochemical and oil & gas sectors. This is a Hybrid role, offering the flexibility to combine essential on-site activities in Cartagena with remote workdays, promoting a sustainable work-life balance. We are looking for an individual with a strong commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), including HAZOP, LOPA, and FMEA studies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Process Safety Management (PSM) programs.
• Ensure compliance with national and international safety regulations and industry best practices in the Hidrocarburos sector.
• Investigate process safety incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for operations and engineering personnel.
• Review engineering designs and modifications for process safety implications.
• Manage safety studies and ensure recommendations are effectively implemented.
• Perform site safety audits and assessments to identify potential risks and non-compliance issues.
• Foster a strong safety culture throughout the organization in Cartagena .

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience specifically in process safety engineering within the Hidrocarburos industry.
• In-depth knowledge of PSM elements (e.g., OSHA PSM, Seveso Directive).
• Proficiency in conducting various PHA methodologies and risk assessment techniques.
• Experience with safety instrumented systems (SIS) and quantitative risk assessment (QRA) is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Spanish is required; English proficiency is a significant advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a Hybrid model, balancing remote responsibilities with necessary on-site presence in Cartagena, Murcia, ES .
