Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions in Spain seeks a Vendor Scoping Lead to drive end-to-end scoping, budgeting and vendor selection for GDO studies. You will collaborate with study teams to ensure budgets are accurate, competitive and delivered on time to enable start-up.

You will negotiate budgets with clinical service providers, coordinate with Contract Services, and maintain a catalogue of preferred vendors. A Bachelor’s in life sciences, business, or finance and 5+ years in drug development are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business administration, finance, or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of drug development experience with vendor scoping/out outsourcing.
• Solid understanding of clinical trial budgeting and RFP processes.

Responsibilities

• Scope development for Development and local/regional studies with study teams.
• Analyze GDO vendor budgets and align scope.
• Negotiate budgets with clinical service providers.
• Interface with Contract Services to translate scope into contracts.
• Coordinate governance interactions and approvals.
