Indra Group in Spain is seeking a Validation & Verification Systems Engineer to lead V&V activities for next-generation satellite navigation and space systems. You will design test campaigns, implement automated tests, verify requirements, and ensure traceability across the development lifecycle.

This role offers hybrid working, international projects, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Fluency in English and a degree in Telecommunications or Electronic Engineering are required,

Formación

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or Electronic Engineering.
• 3+ years in Validation & Verification for hardware and software systems.
• Experience defining, developing, and executing test plans and campaigns.
• Experience in test case design, implementation, and automation.
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering methodologies and lifecycles.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

We are looking for a Validation & Verification Systems Engineer with experience in hardware and software verification activities to join projects focused on the validation and qualification of next-generation satellite navigation, PNT, and space systems.

What will you do?

• Define, develop, and execute Validation & Verification (V&V) plans, procedures, and test campaigns.
• Design, implement, and automate test cases for complex hardware and software systems.
• Verify system requirements and ensure traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
• Conduct laboratory integration, validation, and qualification activities using electronic instrumentation and test equipment.
• Analyze test results, identify anomalies, and support corrective actions with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Contribute to systems engineering activities across the full system development lifecycle.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
• More than 3 years of experience in Validation & Verification of hardware and software systems.
• Experience defining, developing, and executing test plans, procedures, and verification campaigns.
• Experience in test case design, implementation, and automation.
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering methodologies and system development lifecycles.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience in GNSS, navigation, Positioning, Navigation & Timing (PNT), or aerospace and defense systems.
• Experience with test automation and scripting using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of system integration, qualification, and acceptance testing.
• Familiarity with space industry standards such as ECSS.
• Experience with requirements management and verification tools.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments.
