Indra Group in Madrid, Spain, is seeking an Interplanetary Mission Analysis Engineer to develop and maintain mission analysis software tools. The role focuses on trajectory optimization, celestial mechanics, and cross-platform development for national and international space projects.

The ideal candidate has an advanced degree in a related field and strong experience in C++17, Python, Git, and CMake, with a passion for aerospace software and space defense programs.

Formación

  • Advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field, with a focus on trajectory optimization or celestial mechanics.
  • Experience with software engineering methods and techniques.
  • Advanced knowledge of C++17 and Python.
  • Experience working with Git version control systems.
  • Experience with CMake build systems.
  • Experience developing software in cross-platform environments (Windows, Linux, and macOS).

Responsabilidades

  • Develop and maintain software tools in support of Mission Analysis activities.
  • Design, implement, and optimize high-performance software applications.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility and quality of software designs.
  • Contribute to trajectory optimization and celestial mechanics-related developments.
  • Support cross-platform software development across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams in national and international space projects.

We are looking for a Interplanetary Mission Analysis Engineer with experience in trajectory optimization, celestial mechanics, and software development for mission analysis applications to join projects focused on the development and maintenance of software tools supporting interplanetary mission analysis activities.

What will you do?
  • Develop and maintain software tools in support of Mission Analysis activities.
  • Design, implement, and optimize high-performance software applications.
