Realnaut in Madrid is seeking a Researcher to join the Digital Bank Strategy team. You will translate customer insights into strategic, product and design decisions while collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization.

The role has a strong international focus on German-speaking markets, requiring both qualitative and quantitative research and advanced data analysis using Google Sheets/Excel and Google Apps Script.

Formación

• 3–6 years of experience in user or market research.
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Strong analytical, communication and storytelling skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel and Google Apps Script.
• Experience with competitor analysis and benchmarking.
• High proficiency in German and professional fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in fintech, digital banking or financial services is a plus.

The role has a strong international focus, with particular relevance to German-speaking markets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative user and market research.
• Identify customer needs, behavioural patterns, market trends, and business opportunities.
• Analyse surveys, data, and KPIs to generate actionable insights.
• Conduct competitor benchmarking and market research within digital banking and fintech.
• Prepare clear, engaging reports and presentations for cross-functional audiences.
• Collaborate closely with strategy, product, design, marketing, and data teams.
• Support research projects involving German-speaking markets and customers.
• Use Google Sheets/Excel and Google Apps Script for data analysis and process automation.
• Translate research findings into strategic and business recommendations.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in User Research, Market Research, Behavioural Analysis, or a related field.
• Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and storytelling skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel and Google Apps Script.
• Experience in competitor analysis and benchmarking.
• High proficiency in German and professional fluency in English are essential.
• Spanish is a plus.
• Strong ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in fintech, digital banking, or financial services is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools such as Dovetail, Maze, Typeform, Figma, or Airtable is desirable.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Marketing, Data Science, Economics, Business, Design, or a related field.
