Sofar is seeking an experienced Utility Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the utility-scale solar and BESS market in Spain. You will develop strategies, engage EPCs, developers and utilities, and drive large-scale project wins.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in utility-scale solar/BESS sales, a proven record of closing large projects, strong PV/grid knowledge, and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience in utility-scale solar/BESS sales with large project experience.
• Proven track record of managing and closing large-scale solar or energy storage projects.
• Strong understanding of PV systems, grid connection, and inverter/BESS technologies.
• Familiar with EPC tendering and financing structures.
• Strong network with developers, EPCs, or utilities.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50%).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute sales strategies targeting utility-scale solar and BESS projects.
• Identify and engage with IPPs, EPCs, developers, and utilities, building long-term partnerships.
• Lead the full sales cycle from project identification, bidding, negotiation to contract closure.
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers, including system solutions and value propositions.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, policies, and competitor activities.
• Achieve or exceed annual sales targets through pipeline management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions and proposals.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings.
• Provide regular reporting on project pipeline and sales performance.
• Collect customer feedback and work with product teams to optimize solutions.
