Sofar is seeking an experienced Utility Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the utility-scale solar and BESS market. You will target EPCs, developers, and utilities, driving large project closures and delivering tailored PV and energy storage solutions.

The role requires a proven track record in large-scale sales, strong PV knowledge, and the ability to travel up to 50% to close major opportunities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in utility-scale solar/BESS sales with large projects.
• Proven track record closing large-scale solar or energy storage projects.
• Strong understanding of PV systems, grid connection, and inverter/BESS tech.
• Familiar with EPC tendering and financing structures.
• Extensive network with developers, EPCs, or utilities.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to travel up to 50%.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute sales strategies for utility-scale solar and BESS.
• Engage with IPPs, EPCs, developers, and utilities.
• Lead full sales cycle from identification to contract closure.
• Provide technical and commercial support and value propositions.
• Monitor market trends, policies and competitor activities.
• Hit or exceed annual sales targets through pipeline management.
• Collaborate with technical, product and marketing teams.
• Represent the company at industry events and meetings.
• Provide regular reporting on pipeline and market insights.
• Gather customer feedback to optimize solutions.
