Job summary

Zurich Insurance Group’s ServiZurich unit in Barcelona offers a paid internship focused on investments. You will assist portfolio managers, monitor portfolios, and support reporting and analytics while working with a dynamic, tech-driven team.

Ideal candidates are active students with a background in economics/finance or engineering, with English proficiency and a keen interest in insurtech. The role supports 25 hours per week and offers training, discounts, and social clubs.

Qualifications

• Active student status with a Spanish University/School is mandatory.
• University studies in Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, or Engineering with knowledge of financial markets; or a master’s degree in financial markets or investment-related fields.
• Programming skills are desirable
• Outstanding communication skills in English (both spoken and written)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, international team
• Proactive and passionate about investments
• Able establish a collaboration agreement with the University and/or Business School for a minimum of 6 months, with the possibility of extension
• Availability to dedicate around 25h per week to this internship
• Efficient level of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Ppt)
• Interested in the Insurtech world.
• Enthusiastic, capable, and eager to learn.
• A good team player with a responsible, can-do attitude.

• Fund selection & monitoring.
• Assist in day-to-day operations.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and portfolio analysis.
• Assist in Unit Linked and Pension Fund reports, portfolio analysis, and client meeting materials.
• Optimize and/or automate processes and tasks.
• Provide support in maintaining and organizing IM documentation.
• Work alongside experts in various technological domains.
• Enhance your skills with real-world experience.
• Contribute to a team that values your input and creativity.
