Qualifications

• 1+ years experience working in operations.
• Strong understanding of deal processes and transaction dynamics.
• Commercial mindset with excellent negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist underwriters with assessment and processing of new business submissions, renewals and policy amendments.
• Gather, review and organise information required to assess potential risks and support underwriting decisions.
• Prepare, review and maintain underwriting documentation, including policy documents, endorsements, quotations and submission files.
• Maintain accurate underwriting records, update internal systems and ensure all relevant information is recorded correctly.
• Communicate with brokers, clients and insurers to obtain outstanding information and support submissions.
• Assist in preparing insurance quotations, reviewing terms and conditions, and ensuring documentation is accurate before submission.
• Support the issuance, amendment and renewal of insurance policies, ensuring all documentation is completed within required timeframes.
• Ensure underwriting activities comply with internal procedures, regulatory requirements and relevant guidelines.
