American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a Travel Counselor to join our highly skilled remote team, delivering outstanding service to corporate clients. You will advise and arrange travel across air, rail, and hotels, ensuring policy compliance and proactive service.

The role emphasizes collaboration, integrity, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. In this remote, after-hours environment, you will utilize Amadeus GDS and engage with cross-functional teams to meet client needs

Formación

• Native Amadeus GDS expertise; two years minimum experience.
• Fluent English required (written and spoken).
• Spanish or other European language a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (both individuals and groups).
• Conduct analysis and research on travel options, and pro-actively anticipate traveler needs to sell additional services.
• Arrange and book domestic and international business travel, in a variety of complexity, for air, road, rail, and accommodations.
• Use of Amadeus Global Distribution System - Refreshment training may be provided.
• Ensure compliance to customers’ agreed travel policy, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Use positive telephone service techniques and act on special customer requests.
• Collaborate within your team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service levels.

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (both individuals and groups)

What We’re Looking For

• Passion for excellence in client service, including proactive anticipation of needs
• Native GDS expertise (Amadeus) >> two years minimum experience
• Native or full working proficiency in English(written and verbal) is a must. Spanish and any additional European language could be considered a plus
• Attention to detail
• Act with integrity, and look after personal traveler information
• Possess a strong understanding of the travel industry (background in business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservation)
• Resolving customer issues quickly and independently / with supplier
• Teamwork and openness to feedback

Our Traveler Care team is a 24/7 operation. We have additional shift allowances for Overnight Shift Schedule
