We are looking for a Transport Network Planner to design, optimize, and maintain transportation network solutions that support reliable, efficient, and cost-effective logistics operations. Based in Valencia , this role will be responsible for translating customer and business requirements into executable network plans, ensuring the right service, routing, lead times, and carrier solutions are in place to support operational excellence.You will work closely with Procurement, Control Tower, carriers, terminals, and business stakeholders to drive network performance and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain transportation network plans, routing strategies, and service solutions across multiple logistics flows.Develop and manage lane profiles, lead-time models, and service requirements to support reliable operations.Define and optimize routing, consolidation, mode selection, and carrier allocation strategies.Collaborate with Procurement and operational teams to support carrier sourcing, network implementation, and service deployment.Analyze network performance, costs, service levels, and capacity utilization to identify improvement opportunities.Evaluate alternative scenarios and recommend solutions that balance cost, service, capacity, and operational efficiency.Ensure network plans, routing guides, and carrier information are maintained and aligned with business requirements.Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, performance reviews, and network optimization activities.What We Are Looking ForExperience in transportation planning, logistics, supply chain, network design, or freight forwarding.Strong understanding of multimodal transportation, routing, consolidation, and logistics operations.Experience analyzing network performance, costs, lead times, and service levels.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into practical business solutions.Commercial mindset with the ability to balance customer requirements, operational performance, and cost efficiency.Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills.Proficiency in Excel, BI tools, or other data analysis and network planning solutions.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and international environment.Why Join Us?This is an exciting opportunity to shape transportation network strategies, drive operational efficiency, and contribute to an innovative logistics organization while working with global stakeholders and industry-leading partners. #LI-MA1Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
