Maersk is seeking a Supplier Liaison Coordinator based in Valencia to support supplier onboarding, readiness, and compliance within a new logistics operating model. You will serve as the primary link between suppliers and internal teams, managing bookings, documentation, and milestones to ensure seamless execution.

You will drive supplier adoption, identify risks early, and ensure readiness to operate within the network.

• Lead supplier onboarding activities, including communications, training, and readiness assessments.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers; ensure clear understanding of processes and expectations.
• Validate supplier information, documentation, and readiness for go-live.
• Monitor bookings, documentation, and operational compliance for timely shipments.
• Identify and escalate risks related to cargo readiness, documentation, or systems.
• Support suppliers during implementation and resolve operational challenges.
• Track supplier performance, compliance, and recurring issues; drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Control Tower, and Planning to improve efficiency.

We are looking for a Supplier Liaison Coordinator to support supplier onboarding, readiness, and compliance as part of a new logistics operating model. Based in Valencia , this role will act as the key link between suppliers and internal teams, ensuring bookings, documentation, cargo readiness, and operational milestones are managed effectively to support seamless execution.You will play a critical role in driving supplier adoption, identifying risks early, and ensuring suppliers are prepared to operate successfully within the new network.Key ResponsibilitiesLead supplier onboarding activities, including communications, training, and readiness assessments.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring clear understanding of processes, requirements, and service expectations.Validate supplier information, operational capabilities, documentation processes, and readiness for go-live.Monitor booking, documentation, and operational compliance, ensuring timely and accurate shipment execution.Identify and escalate potential risks related to cargo readiness, documentation, production, or system issues.Support suppliers during implementation phases and provide guidance to resolve operational challenges.Track supplier performance, compliance, and recurring issues, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement.Collaborate closely with Procurement, Operations, Control Tower, Planning, and other stakeholders to enhance supplier performance and operational efficiency.What We Are Looking ForExperience in supplier management, customer experience, logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or transportation operations.Strong understanding of shipping, export documentation, and operational processes.Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.Strong communication and training capabilities with the ability to engage diverse supplier groups.Proactive problem-solving skills with a focus on risk identification and resolution.High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.Experience supporting operational change, onboarding programs, or process improvement initiatives is an advantage.Why Join Us?This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a major logistics transformation, helping suppliers successfully adopt new ways of working while contributing to operational excellence and an outstanding customer experience. #LI-MA1Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
