Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in space systems engineering, with a strong focus on telecom payloads and RF subsystems.
• Deep understanding of electronics, radiofrequency, communications, and/or embedded software.
• Proven experience as a telecom payload architect, capable of leading the design and validation of complex subsystems.
• Strong knowledge of Python and MATLAB for data processing, analysis, and automation.
• Ability to manage trade-off studies and propose balanced technical solutions aligned with customer needs and project constraints.
• Experience preparing technical documentation: specifications, design justifications, analysis reports, user manuals, etc.
• Critical thinking and decision-making skills based on consistent technical information.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
• A proactive, collaborative mindset and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design of space telecom subsystems, including RF, digital and analog electronics, data processing, software, and firmware.
• Evaluate and propose system architectures that meet mission requirements and constraints.
• Develop, build, and validate solutions considering the entire system lifecycle.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and data packages for all project phases.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Support integration, testing, and troubleshooting of telecom payload components.
• Contribute to design reviews and customer interactions as a technical reference.
