Job summary

Revolut is seeking a Network Engineer to design and maintain the global network infrastructure connecting offices, cloud environments, and financial partners. You will build automated, scalable, and secure network services that enable fast, compliant operations.

Key responsibilities include designing high-availability networks, leading projects, managing WAN/LAN/SD-WAN/SASE with Cisco, Fortinet, Zscaler and Cloudflare, and driving automation with Terraform and Ansible.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Expertise in Cisco and Fortinet technologies.
• Knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and SD-WAN.
• Experience with SASE platforms like Zscaler or Cloudflare.
• Infrastructure automation with Terraform or Ansible.
• API-based system integration.
• Fluency in English.

We're looking for a Network Engineer to design and maintain the global network infrastructure that connects our offices, cloud environments, and critical financial partners. You'll build automated, scalable, and secure network services that enable our teams to move fast while meeting the highest regulatory and security standards.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and supporting high-availability networks across global offices, Azure/GCP, and financial partners
• Leading mid-sized projects from initial planning through deployment and performance optimisation
• Managing WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, and SASE environments using Cisco, Fortinet, Zscaler, and Cloudflare
• Optimising global wireless infrastructure, including capacity planning and conducting surveys
• Ensuring compliant connectivity to banking partners and regulated environments
• Driving automation via Terraform and Ansible to standardise configurations and improve efficiency
• Integrating network systems with monitoring and security platforms using APIs
• Exploring AI-driven solutions to enhance incident response and performance monitoring
• Collaborating with security teams to implement zero-trust principles and robust segmentation
• Managing vendor relationships and tracking SLAs to ensure peak service performance

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in network engineering
• Expertise in Cisco and Fortinet technologies
• A deep understanding of routing, switching, firewalls, and SD-WAN
• Practical knowledge of SASE platforms like Zscaler or Cloudflare
• Exposure to infrastructure automation using Terraform or Ansible
• The ability to integrate systems programmatically using APIs
• Solid troubleshooting skills to manage critical incidents calmly
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
• A proactive mindset with a sense of ownership over complex systems
• Fluency in English

Nice to have

• Ekahau wireless survey experience
• Experience connecting enterprise environments to central banks
• Proficiency in Python for network scripting
• CCNP or equivalent cloud networking certifications

Compensation range

Krakow: PLN11,700 - PLN19,100 gross monthly* Poland: PLN11,700 - PLN19,100 gross monthly* Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process *Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
