ABB is seeking a qualified engineer to support the Sales organization during proposal processes. You will be the key technical resource between the Ring Motors factory in Trapagaran and customers, preparing technical descriptions and coordinating costs and final documentation.

The role requires a degree in Industrial Electrical Engineering, experience with GMD Ring Motors and Hydro, strong English skills, and a collaborative mindset to drive growth and meeting targets.

• Experience in engineering with specialization in GMD (Ring Motors) and Hydro business is valuable.
• High level of English (spoken and written).
• Adaptability to change and able to adjust plans when needed; team oriented.

• Define technical and commercial offers to meet customer needs.
• Develop and maintain new sales opportunities and resolve customer problems; help achieve order targets.
• Ensure budget goals and profitable growth across assigned product groups and countries.

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource being the key point between the Ring Motors factory (Trapagaran) and the customer needs. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation, ensuring alignment with ABB standards and targets.

• Work model:
• Performing all needed calculations to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries.
• Defining technical and commercial offers to meet customer needs.
• Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and resolving specific customer problems; and ensuring achievement of targets on orders.
• Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries.

Qualifications For The Role

• Degree in Industrial Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in engineering with specialization in GMD (Ring Motors) and Hydro business will be valuable.
• Deep understanding of industrial/manufacturing market dynamic.
• Mindset to innovate, take ownership, drive improvement. High standards of integrity and transparency.
• High level of English (spoken and written).
• Adaptability to change and ability to adjust plans when needed. Collaborative spirit with a team-oriented approach.
• Driving license will be a plus.
