James Chase is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for a 12-month contract in Spain. You will troubleshoot applications, APIs and web platforms, using SQL, Python and other technical tools to investigate issues and collaborate with Engineering and Product teams.

You will manage incidents, write SQL queries, read Python code, troubleshoot REST APIs and HTTP status codes, and use AI tools for automation. Fluent English and a proactive, communicative approach are essential.

Qualificações

• Hands-on experience in technical support or production support environments.
• Strong, practical SQL skills with data analysis capabilities.
• Ability to read and understand Python code and basic programming logic.

Responsabilidades

• Investigating technical issues across applications, APIs and web platforms, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• Writing SQL queries to analyse data and investigate problems, including joins, filtering and aggregations.
• Reading and troubleshooting Python code, understanding basic programming logic and working through code snippets.
• Investigating API issues, HTTP status codes and rate limiting.
• Managing and prioritising incidents and escalations, including P1/P2 issues, within agreed SLAs.
• Collaborating with Engineering and Product teams, using monitoring tools and AI to support investigations, scripting and automation.
