Enerpop is seeking a Technical Office Manager to run the day‑to‑day of the technical office, ensuring air-source heat pumps, solar self‑consumption and related systems are designed, permitted and delivered on time and to standard.

You will oversee 2–3 technical office staff and the installations lead, coordinating 4–5 installation teams, in a hybrid Madrid‑area role with autonomy over daily operations.

Executive Integrity, in collaboration with ASB Renewables Consulting, is supporting Enerpop, an honest, no-small-print company specialising in air-source heat pumps, residential solar self-consumption, and EV charging, in the search for their next Technical Office Manager.

This is a Technical Office Lead/Manager position (not an Operations Director role), within a 15-person structure. It's a hands‑on, "roll-up-your-sleeves" role: running the day-to-day of the technical office with the ability to delegate, designed to free up the founder from daily technical oversight. This is not a big-corporate senior executive profile.

What will you be doing?

As Technical Office Manager, you'll run the day-to-day of the office, ensuring every air-source heat pump, solar self-consumption and accessory-system project is designed, permitted and delivered on time, on budget and to standard, ideally acting as the qualified technical lead of the installation company.

You'll oversee 2-3 technical office staff and the installations lead, who in turn coordinates 4-5 installation teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and/or producing installation design and sizing: technical reports, calculations and drawings (AutoCAD or similar).
• Overseeing building Energy Efficiency Certification (CE3X or similar).
• Procuring the equipment, materials, tools and protective equipment needed.
• Supervising and/or handling permitting and legalisation with the relevant Industrial Inspection and Control body, or regional equivalent.
• Planning and supervising site works: coordinating in-house teams, and controlling timelines, quality and safety (with health & safety oversight).
• Supervising and/or processing relevant grants and subsidies (CAEs, Plan Rehabilita, etc.).
• Providing technical support to the sales team: validating proposals and conducting technical site visits.
• Handling technical after-sales and rolling out the maintenance catalogue (Basic / Plus / Premium).
• Managing the technical office team, delegating where appropriate.

Are you the ideal candidate?

• An engineering degree or advanced vocational qualification in renewable energy / electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading/supervising a technical office (experience in residential solar self-consumption and/or heat pump installations is a plus).
• Proficiency with design software (AutoCAD or similar) and a proven ability to manage teams.

Nice to have:

• Qualification as technical lead of an installation company / RITE and/or REBT specialist certification (if not already held, must be obtained within 6-12 months).
• Strong command of administrative processing and permitting with utilities and regional authorities.
• Experience managing grants and public funding.
• Knowledge of the heat pump + solar PV mix for residential and small commercial properties.

• Hybrid format, around 50% office/remote (mostly office-based at the start, until process and team control are established).
