Grupo Oesía is seeking a senior avionics lead to design, develop and integrate high‑value avionics solutions within multidisciplinary teams. You will coordinate project areas, assign tasks and ensure excellence across the system lifecycle.

Based in Spain, you will interact with customers and internal departments, ensuring DO-178/DO-254 compliance and ARINC standards. The role demands strategic vision, initiative and a passion for technical excellence to deliver impactful projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic, Telecommunications, Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
• Extensive experience in avionics, defence or aeronautical systems.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams with a focus on technical excellence.
• Nice to have knowledge of avionics subsystems such as navigation, communications, sensors and embedded systems integration.

WHAT WILL YOUR MISSION BE?

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team where you will design, develop and integrate technological solutions that become part of high-value projects for our clients.

WHAT WILL YOU DO ON A DAY-TO-DAY BASIS?

• Lead a technical team, coordinating key project areas and ensuring excellence throughout all phases of the system lifecycle.
• Assign tasks, monitor workload, and support the resolution of technical blockers.
• Coordinate the design, development, integration, and validation of avionics systems.
• Manage the system lifecycle, from requirements definition through to entry into service.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and best practices for avionics and safety‑critical systems (DO-178, DO-254, ARINC, etc., as applicable).
• Act as the technical interface with other departments, customers, and project stakeholders.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
• Extensive experience in complex technological environments, preferably in avionics, defence or aeronautical systems.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of avionics systems such as: Navigation, communications, mission, sensors and/or control. Embedded systems integration.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams with motivation, clarity and a results-oriented approach.
• Strategic vision, initiative and a focus on technical excellence.
