ENGIE ESPAÑA, S.L.U. is seeking a Tech Lead for ENGIE B2B IT in Madrid to provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on across analysis, design, development and operations. You will translate business priorities into sound design decisions and own complex technical challenges.

Reporting to the Digital & IT Lead in Energy Supply Iberia, you will guide developers, coordinate suppliers and drive incident resolution with a strong emphasis on architecture, security and maintainability.

Formación

• University degree in a relevant field or equivalent with professional experience.
• Strong hands-on command of Angular, Python and FastAPI.
• Deep experience with REST/JSON APIs, OAuth 2.0, Keycloak and RBAC.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL/SQL; experience with MongoDB and RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on with Nginx, containers, Kubernetes; design and implementation focus.
• Experience with CI/CD, observability, secure SDLC, incident management and planning.
• Experience with hybrid Azure+on-prem architectures, Azure AKS, Terraform, GitOps tools.
• Knowledge of Fortinet, Zabbix, Grafana, Power BI, SAP, SFTP integrations and SRE/DevSecOps practices.
• English at least B2; higher is beneficial for international coordination.
• Around 6+ years as a Senior Software Developer with leadership experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the technical evolution of ENGIE B2B IT landscape aligning priorities with design decisions and architecture.
• Design and develop critical software components, APIs, integrations and automation hands-on.
• Organize the team’s technical work, define acceptance criteria and remove blockers.
• Ensure solution quality via architecture reviews, testing strategies and security controls.
• Make architectural decisions within governance and manage technical debt and performance.
• Monitor service health, lead incident response and resolve complex production problems.
• Define deployment, monitoring, change-management and recovery procedures enabling DevSecOps practices.
• Mentor and grow the team’s technical capabilities with knowledge sharing and delegation.
