Job summary

Thinkproject GmbH in Bucharest is seeking a Systems Engineer (f/m/d) to join our SaaS platform team. You will provision and operate multi-tenant infrastructure in public clouds, implement automation, maintain high availability, and support on-call incidents across data centres.

Fluent English and strong teamwork are essential. You will collaborate with security and compliance, participate in ongoing learning, and help transition to innovative technologies while maintaining robust operational

Responsibilities

• Support the engineering, deployment, operation and optimisation of technology solutions for our customer platform, operated in data centres.
• Proactively ensure the highest availability of systems and infrastructure.
• Perform routine maintenance on the infrastructure of our SaaS solutions, incl. releases, patching, and vulnerability scanning.
• Develop automations to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Participate in on-call, incident management and escalation processes.
• Produce accurate documentation of configurations and procedures.
• Contribute to planning and execution of IT projects with risk management and reporting.
• Provide on-site support for our physical data centre locations.

What your day will look like

• Support the engineering, deployment, operation and optimisation of technology solutions for our customer platform, which are operated in various data centres (public clouds and co-locations).
• You proactively ensure the highest availability of systems and infrastructure.
• You will perform routine maintenance on the infrastructure of our SaaS solutions, including software releases, patching, and vulnerability scanning processes.
• Implementation of automations to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Commit to self-development and learning to support innovative technologies and further your understanding of core operational principles.
• Support the company in the transition to innovative technologies.
• Working with our IT security and compliance team to ensure that Thinkproject adheres to industry leading security standards, maintaining compliance with our security accreditations.
• Actively participate in an on-call and platform service, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and managing escalations to other technical teams, senior management, or account managers.
• Produce accurate and detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes and procedures
• Participate in planning and executing the technical implementation of IT projects including risk management and reporting
• Provide on-site support for our physical data centre locations
