ERNI is seeking an infrastructure engineer to support OT/IT environments in manufacturing sectors. You will deploy and integrate industrial software platforms like Inmation within Windows-based enterprise infrastructure, coordinating with OT engineers, cybersecurity teams, and software vendors.

You will handle upgrades, migrations, testing, and disaster recovery, while embracing a hybrid work model. Strong SQL Server, AD, and networking skills are required to thrive in this role.

Formación

Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server and Windows-based enterprise infra.
Experience deploying and integrating industrial software platforms, preferably Inmation, in IT environments.
Familiarity with Active Directory, authentication mechanisms, certificate management, DNS, and networking fundamentals.
Understanding of SCADA/OT environments, industrial automation architectures, and OT security awareness.
Background in infrastructure, virtualization, backup and disaster recovery in industrial settings.

Can you imagine preparing the infrastructure that keeps critical manufacturing systems running?

Join our expert team to work in a manufacturing sector environment, contributing to the deployment and integration of industrial software platforms that support OT operations. You will apply your knowledge of Windows-based enterprise environments, Microsoft SQL Server, and industrial platforms such as Inmation to prepare and maintain the infrastructure that OT engineering teams rely on.

With people. Besides your team and manager, you will have several support figures like a godparent, who will help you with the practical and administrative aspects of daily life during your first 6 months.

And the second most important person after you, your mentor, who will guide you through your entire onboarding and career at ERNI. You will have regular 1:1 meetings with them, and recurrently, you will work on your development plan to define your short-, medium-, and long-term goals.

What you will bring

Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, database connectivity and Windows-based enterprise infrastructure.
Experience deploying, configuring and integrating industrial software platforms, ideally with Inmation, within standardized IT environments.
Familiarity with Active Directory, authentication mechanisms, certificate management, DNS and networking fundamentals.
Basic understanding of SCADA, OT environments and industrial automation architectures, together with OT cybersecurity awareness.
Background in infrastructure, virtualization, backup and recovery technologies, ideally within industrial or manufacturing environments.

You will be responsible for deploying, installing and configuring industrial software platforms within standardized IT environments, integrating them with supporting services such as databases, authentication and networking. You will execute upgrades, migrations and patching following change management processes, perform validation and integration testing, troubleshoot deployment issues and support backup and disaster recovery testing, working closely with OT engineers, Enterprise IT, cybersecurity teams and software vendors.

Our model is hybrid: we usually go to the office 2 days a week, though this depends on the project and team but we love seeing each other’s faces; the best stories always happen in the office!
