Set Europa is seeking a Subsea Telecoms Cable Engineer to support planning, engineering, installation, protection, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance of submarine fibre-optic cable systems. The role spans feasibility, route development, marine survey, system design and manufacturing support, aiming at safe, reliable global connectivity.

ROLE

Subsea Telecoms Cable Engineer is responsible for supporting planning and engineering, installation, protection, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance of submarine fibre-optic cable systems. The role covers technical input across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and route development through to marine survey, system design, manufacturing support, installation, acceptance and operational readiness.

The engineer acts as a technical interface between the project owner, system supplier, marine installation contractor, permitting advisors, landing partners, cable landing station teams, network operators and other stakeholders.
