Job summary

Santander is seeking a Structured Notes Platform Development & Automation Associate / Vice President in Madrid to design, industrialise and scale a global issuance platform. You will translate business, regulatory and operational requirements into robust process designs, functional specs and test scenarios while coordinating with Product, Tech and external partners.

Qualifications

Translate business, documentary, regulatory and operational requirements into process designs and user stories.
Deliver front-to-back technology, workflows or automation initiatives in a regulated financial-services environment.
Experience with structured-note issuance, MTN vehicles or related platforms and workflows.
Strong business-analysis, process-design, data-governance and testing capabilities.

Responsibilities

Own the functional design and delivery of platform enhancements for structured-notes issuance.
Design scalable end-to-end processes across issuance vehicles and open platforms.
Coordinate technology delivery with Product Owners, Technology and external providers.
Drive market readiness and successful production transition for new capabilities.
Develop document-generation and data-driven workflows for regulatory outputs and MI.
Define connectivity with distributors and market infrastructures, including SPIRE.
Identify bottlenecks and deliver automation to increase throughput and control.
Lead testing, deployment governance and user adoption for new capabilities.
